As stated above, at Rocky Hill we believe God has led us to fulfill His Great Commission through Loving, Learning, and Leading. On Sunday, October 18th, we had the opportunity to do all three simultaneously! Back in August, our Missions Committee awarded a scholarship to Collin Chambers (3rd from right), a student at Fruitland Baptist Bible College. As part of accepting the scholarship, Collin preached at Rocky Hill and brought his family with him. During the service and the lunch that followed, we had the great privilege of Loving Collin, his beautiful family, and several accompanying Fruitland students; Learning from God’s Word through his sermon; and Leading by giving him an opportunity to exercise the calling to pastoral ministry that God has placed on his life. We look forward to what the LORD will do through Collin and his family in the years to come. What a blessing it is to be a member of God’s family at Rocky Hill!
